Diamond Dynasty: The Death Valley Predators

Are you tired of losing in your favorite sport’s fantasy league and being belittled by your friends for have a terrible team? I have the best suggestion for you, video games. Yes, you heard right video games. Sports' games are evolving into a virtual world for collecting sports cards of your favorite athletes. These athletes can range from athletes of today and legends of yesterday.

So it takes an unique way of collecting cards and fantasy league action. With the fantasy league part is that you can challenge people with your team that you have collected. I have done this with four game series: Madden, NCAA Football (never forget), NBA 2K, and MLB the Show. It is that last one that I have been playing of late and I have enjoyed exquisitely.

I have enjoyed the game mode Diamond Dynasty. This game mode allows you to customize the team of your dreams. This is one reason why this kills the fantasy leagues The customization goes with the team’s name, jerseys, and most importantly the logo. I mean every good team has a killer logo. Also who wouldn’t root for the Death Valley Predators?

There are a couple of spots that need a touch up. Shortstop, first base, and catcher are the places that need a tune up as position players are concerned. Pitching is good enough but I would love to have a dominate ace in my rotation. The only problem with my bullpen is my long reliever that’s a 77 overall and I would prefer someone that used to be a starter.

So if you think this is a better feel than your fantasy leagues then go out and pick out a sports video game and start building your fantasy team with the player you didn't get while drafting with you so called friends. Lastly root on my Death Valley Predators. LET'S GO PREDS!
